today spiegel online & bento have an article about the anti-gay video.. spiegel is one of the biggest and most serious news media in germany.. they also report and show that youtubers cut the video and changed it in a funny way.

sofia tells her mother that the teacher said it's fine if they live each other.

Oh yeah!
The English congs in the area are so dry, the members so distant from each other; I compare them to hard dry toast. I could easily understand the bitterness of some ex-JWs in this forum if they grew up in an English cong
I could never be part of an English cong;no real fun there. They do their weddings at 10 a.m. while we do them in the evening so that we can eat, dance up a storm and... drink!
Our take of this doomsday cult is quite different from the rest. We shall have fun while waiting on...... Jehovah?!😋

Granted that there are a lot of JW nuts that take what the GB publishes to the extreme, but the smart moderate JW, which is what most Spanish JW congs have, knows better and lets the info in one ear and out the other.
Is quite a balancing act sort of a game this JW world.

oh dear.

i have a customer - dave - who gives me frequent and profitable work sometimes.

i'm retired but am happy to do a little bit part-time.. this morning i called to rectify some work he'd had done by a not-so expert "tradesman".

The WTBTS has changed almost 100% from the time you were in. If you attend a meeting lately, you would swear is some other religion.
Their lit is artsy, and they are into video/cinema production big time these days.
Their huge no blood doctrine has changed to the point that is almost non-existent with this blood fraction use and use of a machine that re-uses one's own blood, etc.
A totally different bird these days!!!

Thankful for my babies

so i was just reflecting on how happy i am to have my babies, despite the orgs.

not so subtle requests that married couples not have babies in order to further serve the org.

It is my clear observation in mine and other surrounding Spanish congs. Just like a buffet, pick and choose.
I guess the masses are tired of the constant cry of urgency for so freakin' long. Their little cry wolf game is OVAH.😉
It is so much nice and easy this way too.

Yes, today's JWs have learned their lesson on NOT putting their life on hold because of the ever changing teachings of the WTBTS.
In my Spanish cong couples are having their children, young graduates furthering their education, some cannot make certain meetings due to their work schedule, etc., it is all alright. Many of us have certainly learned.

Should the public not know the JWs feelings on the LGBTQ subject?
The cat has been out of the bag a long time ago regarding the biblical stance on this deviant behavior.
There simply is just no other way to instruct the JW child in a less hateful way.
The issue is tough, but it needs to be clear in a JW child's mind.
Watch it over and over again with an unbiased mind. It is our life style and it will be passed on to our offspring, just like everybody else does with theirs.

The WTBTS speaks the current understanding by a group of men in the Service Dept., and it changes periodically.
A lot of it is useful, some of it not so much. It is up to the smart individual to distinguish which is which and act accordingly.
This gets easier to do as one gets older.

I am super curious.
These days it takes a lot be kicked out. I am always suspicious of the df'd ones. Just need to know why.

Listen, I have quite a few things I do not agree with the WTBTS (shunning, encouraging baptism of the underaged, etc.) but I would not criticize every single little thing like these two buffoons do. It is pure immature silliness on their part.
